Has Royal Mail ever lost money at Christmas? Could Simon Thompson go down in history as the worst CEO of all time?

Since I have worked at RM, I have never seen the like of this situation we have right now. We always knuckle down to get mail through the system and on to the customer...doing what is necessary to provide a good service to our customers.
Simon Thompson chose to steer RM into this situation. This man's CV of disasters should have been a red flag to any potential employer. Frank Spencer springs to mind. Now we are where we are.
What a crying shame.

That’s s also a mystery to me. When you look at ST track record it’s one of failure. How on earth did he get the job at Royal Mail? Unsurprisingly he’s failing again apart from his own bank balance which is a roaring success.
