Our office manager has just been torn off a strip by their manager for not prioritising premium products, when there is literally weeks of undelivered mail in boxes and in the frames .

I'd say about 75% of our mech didn't show this morning, but we have so many packets we will all struggle not to cut off anyway. Clearly packets are being prioritized at every level

I’m amazed local MPs aren’t all over this on behalf of their suffering constituents, we use to have a local MP come into our office every year to thank us for our efforts and speak to our manager, that all stopped 2 years ago.

Along the lines of a petition to stop Royal mail prioritising Tracked 24/24 packets and having us leave letters including NHS, doctors, etc in the frame for days, while lying to the public that all mail is equal

get us many of us to sign it and hope the press get hold of it

Today I got told to leave packets, had to take all the letters, so I left a york of large packets topped up with a few dodgy ones that the manager told me to leave.

I guess some people at some levels of RM are paying attention.

We were told it would be in before we left, it wasn't. Loads of IPS showed up at about 1 (according to a manager on my return) but the mech is MIA

I haven’t got any great love for most managers,but these directives are coming from the very top . Royal Mail has been seriously profiteering on parcels while hiding behind Covid restrictions for letters . I think the only thing we can hope is that Ofcom wake up and realise that the public are paying for a service that RM knows wont be delivered ( literally )

Delivered hospital appointments today dated 23rd November - absolute disgrace . About 8 trays of mech under my frame and 15 boxes of dtds which will still be there next year !
