So let's look at this in detail.

They want to reiterate, sorry discuss, the details of their best and final offer.
(Will there be compromise or further dictate?)

The "We" part,
(Does that include Simon or just another jumped up yes man?)

They want to discuss CWU reps conduct & behaviours and want Dave, the CWU, to publicly condemn these actions!
(But they fail to mention about them condemning the jumped up allegations and suspensions of other CWU reps and members!)
Will they address the actions of their bullying managers and the lies they are telling the public about their mail not being left to rot for the sake of his parcels agenda!

Life in business is a two way street and this clown has to realise that proper leadership is through leading and taking your workforce with you not as in his dictate, do as I say or the dummy is out the pram!

Starting a letter with the words “ best and final offer” is not a way to de escalate an IA , they’re really not looking for a resolution, it’s just simply a piece of paper Thompson and co can wave in front of the media saying look we tried.

So basically Dave is expected to go for a meeting where he will be told the details once again of the super duper final offer then read the riot act in front of ACAS about trumped up charges that his members have been abusive and racist on picket lines. Pretty obvious Thompson isn’t even trying to pretend that he is up for solving this mess now, 3 weeks until Christmas then it’s executive action on steroids in the new year.
CWU it’s not too late to play the last card, full week strike starting 19th December just give notice today it’s all we have left.
