Well I was wrong. I thought it was to make sure peoples earnings fell short of what they need and would be tempted to go into work on strike days. :hmmmm

Open docket tomorrow in SK CDO, people coming in doing IPS, walk’s and packet’s - absolutely nuts this business 🤪🤪🤪
Someone said that they had a mountain of T48 going through the roof in part of the building.
The whole place is rammed with all streams of mail. 😳

Every time I see a post from him or he's on the TV he just appears completely out of his depth and utterly incompetent.

Does he actually realise that resolving this dispute is HIS responsibility?

Well you would like to think if HE got us in this mess you would have a plan and back it up with the responsibilities of high office is that not what a CEO should do!

we currently have the worst of all worlds - less revenue due to IA (customers switching parcels to competitors) - more costs due to IA (agency workers for IA & recovery) - big back log / delays in the pipeline (poor customer quality) - so less sales + more costs + poorer quality - IA is very damaging - and we are having to balance all of this whilst losing £1.2m a day - we would like to release the IA agency workers - win our business back from the competitors & give everyone the overtime they would like - but we can only do that when we get peace - difficult time for everyone at the moment…..
Oh Simon , do you remember last year when we made millions of pounds profit with the same staff on their current terms and conditions , maybe nobody’s written it on your white board or you’re to busy taking photos of bollards .

I completely agree. The people saying he has played this dispute well are having an absolute laugh. I’ve also heard people say this is all an elaborate plan from him from the start. He really doesn’t seem at all capable of such things.

He’s clearly wayyy out of his depth, incompetent to boot. I suspect he will be gone as soon as CWU meet the major shareholders and/or his position doesn’t change before Christmas. He needs to leave, and quickly.

Where and when is this happening?
Who will be attending?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Yea, it used to drive me up the wall people saying he was a genius, playing 4D chess, and tieing the union in knots, when all I seen a man, doing the predictable things you'd expect from a bully, who'd never faced a union before, n expected us to be a walk over like Morrison's. I don't think he's thought it would come to this. I don't think he expected the support we have in the public and the media. I think he thought he could block us with the courts, scare us with our jobs, starve us stopping overtime, punish us taking our leave, n its not working. What's his next step... Our stamps? Christmas bonus?

Not entirely sure how many or the details, but apparently a large number of the major shareholders, early next week. This is according to Dave Ward when he was on LBC a couple of nights ago.

I think I remember him mentioning meeting the shareholders being the turning point for BT negotiations.

Is DK or his representatives attending, if not, then you can't see the CWU getting far without speaking to RM's largest shareholder?
