we currently have the worst of all worlds - less revenue due to IA (customers switching parcels to competitors) - more costs due to IA (agency workers for IA & recovery) - big back log / delays in the pipeline (poor customer quality) - so less sales + more costs + poorer quality - IA is very damaging - and we are having to balance all of this whilst losing £1.2m a day - we would like to release the IA agency workers - win our business back from the competitors & give everyone the overtime they would like - but we can only do that when we get peace - difficult time for everyone at the moment…..

RMCtv : Simon 'It's not even time and a quarter' Thompson : Why there is an overtime ban
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Easy answer, sort it out, start by releasing some of these directors with fancy titles that do nothing except leech money from the company and make a deal with the men and women that deliver the profits. The rest of you are really surplass to requirements. You all bring nothing and add nothing to the productivity of the company.

It is a war against your terms and conditions and the very Likely Vr's on lower terms and some compulsory reduncies and the fact the are not getting anywhere near inflation and they doc your annual leave for striking and the fact later starts for do's sunday working for Wednesday rates and commit to deliver and employ other people to do your job with lower terms. IF that ain't War what is?aiden01 wrote: ↑03 Dec 2022, 00:12Ffs how many times its not a war its an industrial dispute.k979aaa wrote: ↑03 Dec 2022, 00:00If you seek peace why do you wage a war?POSTMAN wrote: ↑02 Dec 2022, 23:31Simon Says
