DHL are currently advertising. They have good reviews online as an employer. Anyone have any experience with them or know what it’s like to work for them?

I will probably get a job at the employment tribunal.
Given the number of people on here who are apparently going to take RM to an ET, they will be snowed under with work.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Crap pay, unmanageable workloads. Self employed drivers have to have a van less than five years old so that also reduces what you can earn.

I'm handing my notice in this week! Almost 20 years service, I've got a job with a fellow parcel service company earning just under £29,300 a year, its NOT self employed and its Monday to Friday, yea its a couple of hours longer a day than RM (6:30am-4:30pm with an hour unpaid break, 45 hour contract) but I can now enjoy my weekends with the wife and kids :dance :wave

It's not unusual to see courier firms out still delivering at 9/10 pm some days, and you believe you'll be done by 4.30?

I think for some of them thats a choice to work that late - although maybe an enforced choice - but technically they dont have to be out that late.

It's a contract of hours exactly like RM so I don't have to work past my finish time

Sounds attractive, which firm is it, I thought most had a 7 day operation these days ?

Mind you don't think I've seen ups out and about at the weekends but I could be wrong
