The stress is too much
I think we all (every single one of us) have grounds for going on long term sick due to stress caused by the attack on our working conditions
I’m sure that stress would subside if Simple Simon was sacked and his borrowed ideas thrown out with him
last line of defence maybe???

Any good quack would give you a ticket for a few months if you lay it on, could be your last chance to throw a sickie, plus you miss the Christmas chaos

Re: The stress is too much
I was thinking more along the lines of if we all did it simultaneously
I’m certain any quack would have a field day with me, definitely a last resort coz white doesn’t suit me and I hate clothing that fastens at the back

Yes - This is the best way to think of it . Work the hours on your contract.
Ask the lino what he wants prepped and taken out (pointing out the pile of stuff that came back the previous day).
Take half your break before going out.
Take rest of break about half-way through your outdoor work.
60 - 90 mins before finish time, look what Tracked need to be done and adjust as needed.
Drive back leaving enough time to do any housekeeping/parking van up, returning keys and PDA.
Clock out on time.
Rinse and repeat.

Re: The stress is too much
SISO is one of the best things to happen in my office. I am much more relaxed as no longer am I looking at the clock to save a few minutes on each loop to try and get home 20 minutes early.
I no longer care how long we have to do IPS , how much comes in or what time it gets in. It makes no difference to me and everyone else in the office feels the same.

I agree. I have no urgency to get out the door now I don’t usually deliver my first letter till nearly 10. Personally it should have been bought in a while back.antcpfc wrote: ↑27 Nov 2022, 21:12SISO is one of the best things to happen in my office. This is exactly why they are attacking our terms and conditions, whenever people can’t get what they want they hit the default button “I’ll go off with stress”Jen1 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2022, 18:36I think we all (every single one of us) have grounds for going on long term sick due to stress caused by the attack on our working conditions

Re: The stress is too much
I guess most people missed this change, you can get signed ofd by more people than a doctor now.
From today (Friday 1 July 2022) nurses, occupational therapists, pharmacists and physiotherapists can all legally certify fit notes, reducing the pressure on NHS doctors, particularly GPs and scrapping unnecessary bureaucracy.
Updated guidance to health care professionals and their employers on these changes is also being published today, setting out how to support people to remain in work while managing a health condition.

Dave ward and all the other top union guys need to show support by donating 2 days of their pay to struggling posties. Bills and food need paying. I know half my office is nearly about to crack.
