An illegal package that is believed to contain drugs was seized from a mail sorting office in Ely this week. The incident was first reported on social media on Friday (November 18).
Officers from the East Cambs Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were called to the Royal Mail Sorting Office on Cresswells Lane after a suspicious package was intercepted. The package was believed to contain a large quantity of cannabis.
