Probably most of the LATs could be passed on to the next day, as I doubt a customer is sat at home waiting for their contact lens etc to arrive.

Often I get "that's come quicker than I expected" when I deliver a LATs late in the afternoon.

Not sure there's a need for a daily discussion when we all know that delivering SD's and Tracked takes priority over everything else, all we need to do his tell the manager if we can't complete and advise him what mail, non tracked etc, we intend bringing back.

It’s actually illegal though letters being part of the USO should have the same priority as tracked, it’s just the managers bonuses that get effected badly if they are are not done.

How's can it be "illegal" when nobody has ever been charged with USO failures?
