Ist and 2nd class stamps are sorted and delivered exactly the same for years.
Surely there should be a one price stamp.
Why has Offcom never challenged this

Well they haven’t questioned the special delivery either which is basically a guarantee of next day (first class) and the item not being stolen, and these muggs pay for it to feel well Umm “special”

I think many who still use SDs only do so for the ability to track an item throughout the network. There was a big drop-off in the number of SDs around about the time that Tracked really took off

Exactly, Royal Mail are prioritising tracked items while 1st & 2nd class Mail allowed to sit in the frames for days without being delivered which is surely wilful delay.

Why are the union not addressing this issue either as it is going on across the whole business

A PPI customer once told me they don't bother sending stuff first class anymore as they realised second gets there the next day anyway more often than not.
