How long on stage 1, 2, etc

Does anyone know how long you're on stage 1 for before it's cleared, same with stage 2, is it still a year or did they reduce it to 6 months, asking for a friend ...

6 months but I wouldn't be surprised if that changes very shortly the way things are going.
You come off the stage after 6 months if you've had no more than one absence of 9 days or less but depending on your sick record you could just trigger it again with another absence. So best to try to keep it clear for 12 months if possible.

We were informed this morning that it is now back up to 12 months with automatic issue of stages, no exceptions, no matter the circumstances.

That explains today ... A few at our place suddenly getting called in for attendance reviews, even though on their absence sheet, one or two absences were down to COVID last year!

We've also been told the same today, it seems RM intend bringing in all the changes regardless of any IA, I'm starting to wonder if the CWU would have been better discussing the changes and trying to get them amended than just going down the IA route and so allowing the RM to rip up all their agreements.

Your comment seems based on the assumption that these changes are in any way negotiable… and it’s quite apparent that whilst ST remains CEO, they are not.

Well you'll be even more stuffed if the union get their way with their ludicrously unrealistic and utopian fantasy of how RM should operate as a business... because it wouldn't continue to exist as a viable business for very long at all.

So I was put on a stage 1 when I returned to work in January, which would’ve been cleared in July as after 6 months as I had no further sickness. I’m now off for about a month. If they’ve changed it now to 12 months does that mean I go on a stage 2 or is that initial stage 1 still cleared?
