Collecting own Mail
My old delivery office is so short staffed that they are inviting people to call at the delivery office to collect their mail!! This has been coming for a long time but Management just don't seem to care!

Re: Collecting own Mail
They would never find it in my office it's such a mess, so short staffed, walks failing, post in the frame, in vans, in pouches would take far too long

Re: Collecting own Mail
On the "News" section of this site there are some photos from an office in Leeds that have been sent to the local press showing frames left with mail in etc. Surely it would be a good idea for every office that has mail stacking up and left daily in frames to take photos and send them in to
A: The press local to that area
B: The local MP
If every office did this surely it would flush RM out into the public eye as to what is actually going on in the business.
I'm surprised the CWU haven't put this out there telling reps/staff to do this and use it as another string to our bow.

I saw that article the other day and at first a transfer to some remote parts of western scotland pottering around the islands delivering a few letters sounds ideal....but then again...Cluaran wrote: ↑02 Nov 2022, 20:04https://www.heraldscotland.com/business ... zdeFG3G8-E

Surely that's not safe to have a van loaded that much? It may not be overweight but the risk of all that falling on top of you when you open the back door
