Hopefully getting my NRA65 pension in January next year when I hit 65. Started getting some of the paperwork through RMPP for ID and LTA. But got a curious letter today saying there is a delay in giving me a quotation of the value of the pension. Saying they need to wait until the CPI and RPI figures are published in October and November respectively. But I thought that both CPI and RPI for pension increases were taken from September and published in Oct? Being 10.1% CPI and 12.6%RPI. But of course capped for both at 5%. Not sure why they need these figures yet anyway as the earlier 3.1% from last year would have already been added. And I would expect my pension paid in January wouldn't be affected by this years increase until April 2023. And them it would be pro-rata anyway! What do think Robert?
Unless its something to do with this "special enhancement" that Hawkey99 mentioned a while back.

Re: NRA65 curious delay in increase
I can't think of any logical reason why they might want inflation figures in October and November!
The special enhancement was due to end for pensions commencing after 31st December. Unless they've extended it?
The thread relating to that is here: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=105920&p=987893&hi ... nt#p987893
