Royal Mail could save £225m by cutting Saturday post, regulator says
- 27 November 2020

The writing has been on the wall a long time.

The fact job redundancies have been announced is probably to coincide with a drop in the USO to 5 days.

There is no argument for Saturday letter deliveries any more. Anything important will still get through like Specials etc

The company likely know the outcome of Ofcoms report and are acting accordingly.
