Re: Scan in and out
The long plan is for it to be used for pay, make sure you turn up on time and see what time you finish. Currently, they can't use the data in this way.
Managers swear they are just to replace paper sign-in sheets (which I've never seen), a strange expensive option for a company "struggling" to make money.

Yep nothing will happen at the start, then start times will go against you. then your walks will get bigger in the future if you finish early.

Re: Scan in and out
Can anyone tell me when and how meal breaks are supposed to be taken? I’m on a 30hr contract. If big brother is going to be watching our every move I need to get it right.

Re: Scan in and out
Depends on shift length and local agreements. Most I do are 2x 20 minutes. The break times are listed on the front of the router planner. Normally one before you go out and one at a set time while you are out, totally un-workable.

Re: Scan in and out
20 minutes before I leave the office and another 20 minutes before i start my last 2 loops.
Fortunately I've got an HCT duty so don't have to deal with partners not taking their break.
