Re: Someone is selling RM yorkies on Ebay
Might not necessarily be a RM one, as the manufacturer makes them for other firms as well

Re: Someone is selling RM yorkies on Ebay
What with the same red and black straps RM uses? It's odd how some random eBay seller has suddenly got 3 fairly new looking Yorks to sell

Re: Someone is selling RM yorkies on Ebay
Given the number of them that they make for RM, chances are that the red and black straps are the default colour for the straps. AFAIK unless RM has some sort of trademark on the colour scheme of the straps, anyone can request the same when ordering their yorks from the manufacturer

No, we definitely need to order more of them. And there should be at least two per van share
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

I doubt it's just a coincidence that the only Yorks for sale on eBay are identical to RM's!SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑11 Oct 2022, 13:05Given the number of them that they make for RM, chances are that the red and black straps are the default colour for the straps. Re: Someone is selling RM yorkies on Ebay
People are selling trays and bags and uniforms - brand new ones. Seems the options are to become a new start or pay out of your own pocket if you don't want to turn up to work in rags. I thought the company took action against eBay listings for current uniform items, but I guess nobody gives a toss anymore.
The machine stops.

Got a ‘58 Bright Pink Vauxhall Combi with 300k on the clock for sale,
Was still in service only last week
Oh sorry, you said ‘decent’ vans.
No, can’t say I’ve ever seen one of those.

Local Tescos had a few of their own trollies outside their store, straps look identical to the RM ones.TopperGas wrote: ↑11 Oct 2022, 15:18I doubt it's just a coincidence that the only Yorks for sale on eBay are identical to RM's!SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑11 Oct 2022, 13:05Given the number of them that they make for RM, chances are that the red and black straps are the default colour for the straps. The manufacturer has the yorks on general sale, do you really think that a manufacturer is not going to have yellow bases and red straps as the default colour options when they use more of them?

Re: Someone is selling RM yorkies on Ebay
The old design yorks are now rapidly disappearing. Occasionally see an older york with red metal rectangle at the back near the bottom, never found out why it was there.
Hopefully RM will have enough yorks for Xmas pressure this year. I don't think we got too far from being forced to send out the work on pallets last year

Re: Someone is selling RM yorkies on Ebay
they don't look that new so he may have got it from a lock-up that hadn't paid their bills, or something similar. I saw one episode on TV where there were perstops and trolleys. It may not be 100% legal but I doubt RM are going to worry over 3, if he posts more then perhaps they may be.
