It doesn’t matter when the backlog comes through, I will not do any overtime whilst we are in industrial action. You have a start and finish time so stick to them, no need for a work to rule ballot, you cannot be forced to work overtime.

On another point, what’s the point of striking if people come in tomorrow, and subsequent days, and start looking for overtime to clear strike Mail.

We have quite a few doing o.t/early starts i dont agree with it myself but for some its need for others its greed

I don't understand the issue if someone always does morning OT, why wouldn't they still do that extra hour?
Stick to what you would normally do regarding OT, dont be doing extra on top to help clear the backlog!!!

I'm loving the fact this week 'should' be hectic, it makes the start and end time a lot more attractive!

There's some in my office that have been on strike, but then work there day off to get back what they've lost. I can understand they probably can't afford to lose money but it seems to make a mockery of striking.

Mate on distribution called me this evening and said every office in the area is rammed, MC had to put extra run on to get it out of there as they ran out of space to process anymore this morning.
