What you post, how you post, and even idiosyncrasies in spelling and grammar all form a picture. From that picture, it's relatively easy to identify someone. Even people who aren't being controversial will be easy to identify if a manager really wants to find them on here.

In the forces, we called it PERSEC and OPSEC. Personal Security and Operational Security. Basically don't form patterns, change your approach, change names, leave false information, and don't be specific.

With the right training, skills and application, it's easy to get information that is blocked from most websites.

My advice is careful what you post and act like there are managers reading every post because sometimes they are.
Agree with you, should be careful what is posted. It would be difficult though to sack someone based on what's here though. Even if someone used the real name, it could have been setup up by someone else pretending & they haven't got the power to check IP addresses. That would involve police investigation.

Because if you come to work with the mentality that you are working for an enemy, like a slave, it makes you miserable and can turn the workplace toxic.
So you're saying they should come in as though nothing is happening, keep a positive attitude? Don't forget compulsory redundancies were being threatened not so long ago but your saying forget about that, it's all good.

Your exaggerating aswell. I haven't been to your office but we all know people react differently. Some are more vocal & other's keep their frustrations inside. So the picture your painting is bs.

Is the real reason because you don't get along with the staff in your office & you don't want to side with something they are against? Cause you sound bitter about them.
People are walking around my office with a face like thunder. Trying to drag their heels. Huffing and puffing when they get given more lapsing even though they are finishing hours early and making up their shift folding up junk mail.
But you’re right. You haven’t been to my office so you don’t know.

I’m not sure what your last comment means? Are you suggesting I’m strike breaking because I’m bitter against the people I work with and don’t want to stand next to them?
Umm, no.
Some of the people in my office I like. We meet up outside of work etc….
I’m not striking because a.) I don’t want to, b.) I don’t want to and c.) I don’t want to.

There have been comments on here about how people would rather see the company go up in smoke (and 100,000 unemployed with it) rather than see ST get his own way. Other people have said they would rather see them and their partner starve than be a strike breaker.

I don’t share their views.
I’m not bitter about folk. I’m not interested enough in them to be bothered about it. But if they want to name call me at work or in the street then they will face consequences.

And remember you guys are in the luxurious position of making decisions on my behalf. Because of you I have not had a 7% pay increase. I’m a family man and I go to work for money.

I always assume that managers know who you are even on here, so why you’d be silly enough to post inflammatory comments in your OWN NAME, I don’t know. We each have our personal opinions about the people we work with, but you have to keep them to yourself in this day and age.

It would depend on if they were in uniform or if anyone witnessed it.
If not it would depend on what was being said. If I found it insulting and I was with my family I would shout back “You sick pervert! She was 12 years old you monster!”

I never use the S word out loud. Never comment about S’s on social media. The mindset of people does make me scratch my head though ,as the few strikebreakers we have at our place are employees with low seniority who constantly chase docket,in fact I’m pretty sure they’d work 8 days a week if they could.

With the proposed removal of a number of walks their overtime opportunities are about to be several reduced…I’m just waiting for the moment they see the staffing sheet, realise they haven’t got any docket & go running to the union screaming ‘it’s not fair’ - I absolutely guarantee this will happen & they are so self entitled they won’t think they are doing anything wrong :cuppa
“Shorts,in this weather?!”

“If they’re bills I don’t want ‘em!”

“What’s she been ordering now?”

I 100% agree that derogatory words shouldn't be used on social media platforms.

They have been though, and as far as I know EVERYBODY that was investigated has been dismissed.

I asked if anyone had received a lesser penalty than dismissal, or knows of anyone.

Are these friends in your office who you meet up with after work also fellow "strike breakers"?? Or are they posties that have stood on a freezing cold picket line now queuing up to buy you a pint? :chuckle :chuckle

Or more likely wild fantasies in your filthy bloke head a bit like calling people paedo's out in the street

Almost everyone spends most of their lives calling people names, even the most pious and self-ritous.
s**t I just did it again.

Most people are f***ing hypocrites.
s**t I did it again.

This particular term has been weaponised by both sides, as an insult and a handy trap device in order to get people sacked.

There are those who cross the line and there are those who cross the line and gloat, much like those cops during the miners strike waving their pay lines in the faces of destitute miners I have f**k all time for the gloaters, do what you have to do and let us get on with doing what we have to do.

No, just friends. People who know me. Unlike you.

And name calling is fine, but it also the number one reason people self harm and often try to take their own life.
So if you are happy to call people names without any interest in their mental health then that’s your choice.

That's a huge leap mate and I expect you've just thrown it in for dramatic effect.
I'd need to see the working I'm afraid.
