Re: Hung out to dry
Well Lou Barlow , did I say back dated pay rise, where , you probably have a point in the fact that you can't change the past, regarding allocations of massive profits, I may be mistaken but recently the volume has been steadily increasing in our DO, and the increase in the price of postage from 3rd April, will also help. I have always believed that some of the figures have been doctored to suit RMs claim of losing 1M per day, if this was so we would have wound up by now, no business survives these stated kind of loses. I wait patiently to see where we will be in a few months or so down the line ,with your deluded guess work, we shall see good luck

Re: Hung out to dry
It was wrong to ever promise such a thing.
An inflation-busting no strings pay deal. Remember that?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: Hung out to dry
Exactly, even at the beginning of the dispute, I thought that the Union,s demand for a 10% + no strings, or indeed any half decent pay rise without any sort of conditions attached was total pie in the sky

That is all very well and good, but I wasn’t addressing you, which is why I didn’t quote you. It was a general comment.1617mel wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 05:51Well Lou Barlow , did I say back dated pay rise, where , you probably have a point in the fact that you can't change the past, regarding allocations of massive profits, I may be mistaken but recently the volume has been steadily increasing in our DO, and the increase in the price of postage from 3rd April, will also help. Let's just remind ourselves who does the work who work's day in day out and most of all who decides in a vote on your pay it is YOU! Because we are in a union that we endorse every two years by elections by post sent to YOU. This is our democratic right to vote and to join and affiliate with others and in doing so withdrawal our labour as a citizen in the UK as we are not classed as slaves but soon will be!
