Yep same at our MC totally quiet picked up near the end but no backlog, backshift was dead also.

Also heard the rumor that the real backlog is sitting somewhere in a warehouse or something - not sure if i want that to be true or not, just know that on social media a lot of customers are still waiting on there stuff.

I did hear a few days ago that management were looking for some extra storage space , maybe they found it . Anyway ,if it's really clear then there shouldn't be any customer complaints about delayed mail because its all been delivered.....right ?

There must be some network drivers on here know where its all been put, it can't just vanish into thin air, and it certainly hasn't been delivered,,,,there's mountains of it.

Not got a clue where it all is. But i have a hunch contractors are shifting it and most likely dropping at North West from where i am up north. Obviously keeping RM drivers away from any diverting trailers as the great hoax would be exposed.. Just a hunch mind

It's impossible to be up to date when you have no float cover. I work in a big mail centre and all 100+ jobs have no float cover. Mail/small standard parcels do not go out on our day off.

If you have float cover for your rounds....do you have a lot of voluntary redundancies happening at your offices?

All undelivered mail was hidden to a corner of our depot yesterday. Got randoms in delivering parcels and oh my word the amount of them going missing…

You are the insiders....if you believe this is going on you have a duty to report it, board members and senior management are not above the law. If you know about it and not flagging it up you are actually third party supporting it! A normal Christmas would be open docket/no annual leave/extra nightshift and early morning IPS/afternoon parcel duties/many working their days off...and still struggling to clear.

If it is not being stockpiled and as ST claims, MC's are clear, then you must presume that this will be the lightest Christmas on record, and it has been done with no docket/many not working days off and the majority of the workforce being out on strike....so get ready for the ENORMOUS ruck of executive action and axe wielding come January 2nd.

Well put it this way, if over 100,000 employees with eyes and ears, plus countless agency staff, in every part of the company, and nearly all keeping eyes extra peeled for management misdemeanours at this toxic time, cannot spot where it's vanishing to or where it's hiding - you really have got to take your hat off to management for a complete first...REAL magic!

If the mail has been moved elsewhere I fail to see how it is corruption?
Surely all they will say is that in the best interests of H&S they have moved the mail to less congested areas. The mail needed to be kept dry and away from rats.
Sticking another 50 yorks of mail into an already congested DO, when it wouldn't get delivered anyway, wouldn't make any sense.

Because it is being claimed that MC's are clear, with no explanation as to where it is - so the perception will obviously be that it has been delivered! Come on!

And lets face reality here....if its all been delivered and all D.O.s and MCs are clear...then WHY do they need a workforce of 120 odd thousand...when a workforce of a few strike breakers and family and friends can do the work of all of us? They may as well sack us all tomorrow and just keep a workforce of a few hundred eh?.... they'll save BILLIONS!!
