Should be no strings attached like Terry said we just want a pay rise for all our members due to cost of living , personally I cannot wait to leave RM 34 years give me VR tomorrow and am gone I fear for the future of the young people in this company they have lost touch with the people who have given most of their life to this company . We spend best part of our life in Work worked through covid and what thanks do we get we give you a pay rise but yes big BUT, not unless you agreed to the strings attached well RM get it out in the open and tell you workforce what your after . Well am definitely on Terry side he 100% right no deal straight forward pay deal and then we will look at your proposals.

These clowns will never learn. All our delivery’s got longer with last years revision and the early starts now come in 1 and a half hours early instead of 45 mins early pre revision, all unpaid and nobody asks them to do this. It’s infuriating and makes those who start on time look crap at the job.

Happens at our place too. Got back on Saturday last week and a guy was in on his day off to put all his D2Ds in for the following week.

One day strikes won’t cut it. RM not bothered if letters don’t go out so it will be a case of the managers and strike breakers clearing the tracked, and everyone coming back in to two days worth of mail the next day which, given a light day in summer won’t make much difference.
Striking over multiple days a better option but can members afford to lose that much money when things are tight enough as it is?

As has been said before can we afford not to strike. JUST LET THEM WALK ALL OVER US. nobody is getting it easy but lie down now an we are truly fu...d. hopefully cwu will stick by a no strings payrise but we shall wait an see. think if they back down now members will leave in their 1,0000s.

with all the strings they attach..... why do we even bother going over our time to help them out, especially at Xmas. Adding strings just shows they do not value us, so we should not give them anything in return. Just do an honest days work within your contracted hours, but nothing more.

Yep, and the day after a strike they fill the the place with favourites doing all the OT. What's the point.
