How can you make sure you are in when it is delivered? The standard of service from RM is so inconsistent you'd have to be psychic.

I've waitied weeks for items to arrive in the past. And I don't believe this is uncommon.

I have also been in waiting for a parcel to be delivered when a red card was posted through my letterbox after no attempt to deliver the item was made. When I went outside to ask the postman what was going on he didn't even have the parcel with him!

If you don't enjoy lugging our parcels around for 4 hours, perhaps you should bring your concerns up with your manager rather than making sarcastic comments towards your customers over the internet!

Old topic, and the person you quoted has only made 1 post, and you only quoted part of the post. So I would not expect an answer.

BTW don't you think we find it embarrassing as well, what's going on, we did try to warn people that when Royal Mail became a business instead of a service then the focus would change from Customer Service to Profit. That process is ongoing but I am glad to say that in my estimation 99% of posties still to provide a service but with approx 70-80,000 delivery people there will always be problematic posties that don't. Just the same as with a guestimate of 8 to 10,000 managers there is bound to be a few good ones. :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy
