also will it be the same senario as BT,, pay off current staff to leave and then employ cheaper labour..

However broadly speaking they cant make changes to out terms and conditions on transfer without agreement from us. Pensions are a bit more complicated and I would hope that the CWU would advise us on the liklehood and legality of any changes there, and of course on the whole transfer as well.

Not exactly as you would be paid the same amount if paid weekly or monthly, this happened to myself at a previous employer and it saves the employer money.
