Does anyone know if there is any intranet training packages available for health & Safety work, such as E learning etc ?

Yes i have just started a couple of weeks back but iam kinda being left on my own.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

You'll need to contact your Branch secretary to find out when they can get you on the next available Level 1 H&S course. In the mean time you need to use common sense and your Area Safety Rep as much as possible.

I would agree with Himaggen's posting but like most things in Royal Mail if you've got a particular health and safety problem just ask for advice on the forum.

Thanks for the advice. I am supposed to have a days release and a meeting with the area rep, ive emailed him twice but no response yet :confused

I am just using a big slab of common sense at the moment which seems to be having some effect :neutral:
