From Bullfrog,,

Posts like this, which are abusive, devalue the aims of this message board. Fair enough if you want to only engage with like minded people but counter productive when it comes to meaningful communications with other members of the same organisation.

I am not going to defend my position as a manager because I don't need to, believe what I say to be genuine or bury your head in the sand I will not be losing sleep over it.

When it comes to the Pension issue (which is what we are talking about here) I think that the wording of last years agreement (CMA at least) left allot to be desired. RM have taken it that CMA/CWU will support their pension reform as part of the packages agreed and the wording would seem to back that up. However the business is being naive in the extreme if it believed that both Unions would agree to support measures that are detrimental to their own membership.
============================================================================================

I dont give a shite if you or anyone else think MY POST was abusive... Call me anti PC if you will... I know in my heart i never SINGLED you out...

Just asked you a question....!! U never answered... SCREW TRAIT...

but went banging on how MY post was devaluing the mess board and counter productive...

I just dont trust ANYONE who is a scab.... END OF.... Now i see you crack another corker of..."my union never went on strike...

But you never had the balls to stand up and go with your morals.... Or lack of em....

You then said... "I continue to be disapointed that the CMA do not recommend that the membership avoid undertaking work that is proper to another trade union..... IE.. Cross a picket line.......

Now im told By a screw that the CMA is a body and not a UNION??? Can you clear this up BULLFROG???

Any which way. EVERY MAN WOMAN N BEAST HAS A CONCIENCE AND MORALS.. Some more than others.....

LIVE BY EM WHEN THE 30 PIECES OF SILVER ARE ON THE TABLE....

Then i will open my arms and my posts on screws will cease.... UNTIL that day or hell freezes over... I will carry on with MY OPINIONS...

Just like you do screw!!!

Ok let's not have another thread f****d,IWW,Tommo and bullfrog let's leave it there.

My pennies worth.

Managers as a rule aren't going to go on strike when the 'workers' are, that's life.
It's the same everywhere, this pensions dispute though is a different matter and i do feel that they should come out with us,but it aint gonna happen.

My problem with this whole issue is WHY there has to be pension reform.

RM took a massive payment break while we were still paying in. I DON'T remember RM asking US if we wanted to take a payment break.

Then some twat trys to explain that RM were advised to take this payment break to avoid paying higher taxes/charges. While all the time in the last couple of years the stock market has hit 5 years highs. Our pensions should be sitting pretty me old mates. But excuse me,whats the f***ing outcome. The pensions in a f***ing mess and who is going to have to pay for it? US. Why dont RM sue the advisors?????? We should not have to sit around and watch people f**k with our money and then tell US that we will have to forefit our pension and benefits. If it was me f***ing up my money and I couldn t pay the mortgage I would be out of my house before the bank could say "Your a c*** Mr Crozier."

Banks make billions a year by scewing customers and investing our money. When they f**k up they just charge us more. Why dont RM just sue the investors/banks that advised them incorrectly. Come on theres enough to go around Mr Barclays.

f**k 'em, lets srtriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike.

Remember Gordon Brown hit all the pension funds for tax whenever he first became chancellor (even though everyone told him it would be a disaster for the industry) so Brown is as much to blame as RM senior management.

What happened was we were gonna get busted with tax because our pension was so good and we had ooodles of cash in it.
So a pension holiday was the right thing to do.
The thing is,once the holiday got underway and there was A POUND deficit, alarm bells should of rung and things started up again.
But no,it didn't happen,so it's a massive stich up on a grand scale.

And ultimately we are still a government owned company to which before the northern rock crisis they indeed were not!. But they still found the monney all £57 billion of it!. FOR NOW IS THE TIME FOR GORDON THE DITHERING BROWN TO HAVE SOME BACKBONE AND SHOW US THE MONNEY!.FOR IT IS HIS FAULT AND HE SHOULD PAY NOW!.

The leaders of this country don't give a monkeys about us or our pension. They have become part of the establishment just like ward and hayes who sold us down the river.
