London Central MC backlog?

Hi - my parcel was tracked at HWDC on 25/11/2020 and then at London Central MC on 07/12/2020. It should be coming to Coventry.

Is this routing normal? The description of London Central MC suggests that nowadays it's role is to deliver post within London.

Is there a huge backlog at London Central MC?

I realise there's coronavirus and the increase in online shopping, all layered on top of the usual Christmas peak. I'm trying to patient but it's been in the same place for over a month now and I'm wondering if there's some other problem with addressing.

yes normal at Christmas but its still overdue. I would put in claim now. There is still a small chance it may turn up but I would have expected 7 Decembers to have gone through the system by now.
