Question for RobertT
I intend to hopefully retire at 55 and if all goes well i will have 35 years service and assuming no growth/loss about £40k in my avc. I realise you lose 25% for nra60 and 50% for nra65 but my question is would my 40k be subject to any reduction? Thanks in advance

Let us know how you get on, how long the process took and what sort of figures you got.
By the time I hit 55 I will be in a similar position as you for age/length of service etc.
