BAKU / Trend / - Azerpost LLC has stopped accepting international parcels.

Gun Spokesman for the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Gunel Gozalova told Trend on Monday .

According to her, within the framework of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVİD-19, declared by the World Health Organization as a global pandemic, air traffic between several countries was limited and planned flights were canceled.

“In this regard, delivery to the address of international postal parcels has become impossible. In view of the above, in post offices subordinated to Azerpost LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and in Şəbəkə service centers, acceptance of international postal parcels has been temporarily suspended on March 16, ”Gunel Gozalova said.

It should be noted that Azerpocht LLC only accepts and sends international parcels by air.
