As of Monday 10 July, PostNL will launch a new service for its customers: ‘Change delivery’. This means that consumers will be able to change the delivery time and location of their parcels by using the PostNL app or track&trace. This new service is PostNL’s next step towards giving consumers more control over when and where they want to receive their parcels, in cooperation with online shops.

Expanding services
PostNL constantly tries to expand its services to meet consumers’ wishes. Changing the delivery time and location is one of their greatest needs: recipients want to be able to determine the day, time and location their parcel is delivered even before the first moment of delivery. This service allows consumers to change delivery time and location as soon as the parcel has arrived in the PostNL sorting centre until 6am on the day of delivery.

The recipient is in control
Liesbeth Kaashoek, director of Parcels and Logistics: “We have noticed that recipients enjoy having more control over when and where they receive their parcels. The new ‘Change delivery’ service is our way of responding to this wish, yet another step in making our delivery options more flexible. And we will continue making such steps, in which we further encourage the online shopping market."
