Sale complete, so where's the money?

Checked my equitini online statement and it now says the sale is complete so I'm now wondering where the money is as someone has stated here today that it'll be at least the 4th November before we get it?

So who's bank account is all this money sitting in for at least another fortnight?

Surely now the sale of those who sold theirs on day 1 is complete it should be paid to us at the very earliest convenience?

To be frank if you sold your shares without reading the warnings that came on the same page then there is no one you can blame. If you did then it was explained what could happen.

Even on here we have had threads explaining that this may happen. As my old dear departed father used to say, read the small print twice then read it again, make sure you know what you have agreed to.

If the sale proceeds reach your payroll department after the payroll cut-off date, you will receive your proceeds through your payroll within 2 to 3 weeks of the sale. This may take longer for monthly paid colleagues depending on when you sell your shares within the payroll cycle.

That's not what the email says, as I've posted in the thread below.

"Net proceeds from taxable sales (after deduction of income tax, NI and the dealing fee) will be paid to your salary bank account by your payroll on the next available pay date following settlement. If the proceeds reach payroll after the cut-off date, your proceeds will be paid in the following pay period. Please note that sales of non UK listed stocks may take significantly longer."

If you think advising them that the information was there before they made the sale in case they missed it, then you are going to be very upset as my finger wagging is meant to inform not upset. But I won't stop passing on information just become because someone wants to do their own wagging.

I will admit to me, and a few others being frustrated because we put all the information out there, for both sides of the sell/keep question. Yet the same questions are being asked when all people need to do is check the threads out or do a cursory search.

I am a human being I get frustrated, annoyed and yes just like you I am prone to finger wagging occasionally.

All the original poster asked was when he was getting his money. Do you know his personal circumstances? Maybe he needs that money! Quite a few ppl in our do have cashed there shares in , can you still cash them in now? Ill prob keep mines ,maybe gotta now anyway lol

yes you can cash them in at any time, theyre yours now (the first allocation at least) you just have the tax taken off

... and I made no comment on why he wanted the money, or whether it was a good idea or not. I pointed out that part of the process that he went through told him when he was likely to be paid. Is that so wrong of me.

If it is then why do I post on here. Should I give up just because some people are so sensitive they see giving out information as an attack.

Yes, there are some roasters on here, there are also people who can't be bothered to do a simple search. Why is it okay to attack people who are trying to help, but somehow its wrong to point out obvious facts to others.

Its getting more and more aggravating posting on here, I wonder if my time could be spent better elsewhere rather than being attacked for showing my frustration.
