Really? Is that the reason for the low turnout you think? That isn't how voting works tho, or am I being dim? It wasn't, 'don't reply and we'll assume it's a yes' anywhere. These people could have had a nasty shock today if that's how they were thinking.

Given how many people think there is a realistic chance of re-running the referendum because they don't like the result - I'd say quite a lot of people don't understand how voting works

Work out what 1.6% of your take home pay is and times it by however many weeks between the time they say its going into our wages and thats your answer. If you work overtime most weeks then work out 1.6% of each weeks wages and add them together,

So it seams over half the members of the CWU could not be arsed voting but just like the EU referendum in which 1 in 3 did not vote and on this day one hundred years ago those fine men would give their live's for apathy of today's nation. But as one of the 5'423 if any one come's up to me and ask's how the vote went and why it went the way it did I will say I cannot be arsed telling you as APATHY HAS GRIPED THE NATION!

City analysts were happy, they factored in a 2-3% pay rise.
