Hi, I recently had an interview for a post person, and although outscored, I did enough to be put on the waiting list. A month later a second post came up at the same delivery office so I followed the email instructions and emailed my details to myapplication@royal mail.com. since then I haven't heard anything back at all. I've accessesed my profile and only the old position shows up as unsuccessful. If i try to apply to the new position it states I've already applied. Does this mean my name has been put forward for the new position or relate to the previous post?

Probably, however RM are currently going through the process of recruiting 18000 casual staff so they are a bit busy, hang in there.
