Hey all, just wondering if one of you RM guru's could give me a little bit of advice about a package I currently have in the system:
RN130957963GB
Its on its way (I hope) to Germany and contains irreplaceable items of personal value - my worry is that it has been 3 days since the tracking was updated, with the last scan being:
17/01/15 AM DESPATCHED TOGLS GERMANY GERMANY
Does this mean it is in Germany? Do RM update tracking over the weekend, and what is the usual amount of time for a package to arrive in Germany? Thanks!

The 17th is only 1 working day ago so I wouldn't be too concerned yet.

Thanks, I do tend to worry too much. Is it true that mail to GLS Germany goes via road rather than air?

Not sure, but it probably depends on the contents, and or the service purchased.miniman wrote:Thanks, I do tend to worry too much. Is it true that mail to GLS Germany goes via road rather than air?

Just checked on the GLS tracking page with the same parcel number and it says
Inbound to GLS location Germany
I suppose this means that it has arrived in Germany? The time for that scan is 9:49 this morning.

If its with GLS then I recommend using their tracking service, it will have more updates than Royal Mails https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/parcel-tracking" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Advice on delivery times to Germany - 3 days since updat
Thanks for all your help :) The GLS tracking still says Inbound but I believe this means that it has entered their system in Germany via one of their depots/cargo centres?
Delivery was scheduled for 3-5 working days which gives until Thursday for delivery in the allotted time frame, but now its in Germany it shouldn't take too long should it?
Thanks!
