Just a few words to inform anyone who is thinking about taking redundancy. One of our guys who has turned 65 thought he would get 2 years wages but at his 1 to 1 got told he would lose a month for every month after he turned sixty four and a half, that guy would be dropping about 12 to 15 grand because of this, although the guy is really fit etc. and has about 23 years service and could work on if he fits the new criteria, the post office should hang their heads in shame at this ruling, what does it matter what age you are and have given such a long service, the reason I am posting this is because i am near enough coming into the same scenario (i have posted a similar post to this on the Post Office section of the forum)
