A postman's nephew was bitten by a medium size dog in the street, the child is aged 5 he was pinned down to the floor by the dog and bitten severely in his back, puncture wounds (still bleeding) and bruising is visible. Child was taken to A&E. Police have been informed and spoken to dog owner (who still not apologised). Police wants to video statements off both present children in the attack. Who would be the best & most experienced solicitors in making a compensation claim against dog owner ?

Re: Dog attack on a child - advice please
If the father of the nephew is in a Union they may be able to get in touch with a solicitor through them. If they have household insurance some of these have a legal advice clause they may be able to activate.
Apart from that a quick google search for "Dog bite claim" brings up the usual No Win No Fee bunch.
