Finally starting!

Hello! So it's been 18 days for my security checks and had a guy ring me to say i had passed! Then received an email with a welcome day and start date etc.
I'm so nervous! Any tips? My post is with driving too which makes me nervous as I only passed last Nov!

If it said "occasional driving" you probably wont be doing much. If any, it will be short hops of a few hundred yards on your round and may be a few miles going out to it, Also the vans used in this type of delivery are car size, not the big red A team type vans you see, thats usually a senior persons duty rather than a brand new starter.

Thank you! I'm sure I recall the interviewer mentioning park and loop? Not too sure what that means but?
Also the start date they've given me is fine but probably the worst time ever with 2 weeks of Easter holidays coming up can it be changed or? I just wondered.. Thanks for your help.

Change the start date = unlikely to be honest

Park and Loop = 2 People in a van - Park Up and 1 goes off in one direction the other goes in another - you both deliver the mail and loop back to the van. Then you move the Van to another location and do it all again.
