Bomb disposal experts have given the all clear after a suspicious package was sent to a Salford Quays sorting office.

Swiss Post on Pacific Way was evacuated at 9.10am so that specialist officers could examine a possible explosive device.

Ambulances also attended and several roads were closed while the investigation was carried out.

It is understood no threat was received with the package, but police are probing its origins.

Workers are now being allowed back into the building.
