hi all
i`m due to start my new job as a postman in a couple of weeks, been given a 3 month contract for 30 hours a week, looking forward to starting but wondering about if and when i need to order a uniform?
should i be doing this before i start or after?

Don't worry about the uniform that will be sorted out on the first day - at least the high viz - your new manager or trainer should help you order the uniform but it usually takes 6 weeks anyway. They usually have a gap from when you start to when you get a uniform because of staff turnover in the first few months of people starting.
