I've posted on here recently with regards to IHR, i have my meating with ATOS next week and was wondering what the actual criteria as far as time goes?
My physio has said that she cant see me being able to perform the job for at least the next 6 months, however i have seen it on correspondnce that it needs to be 9 months?
I would appreciate any help as i'm hoping for this IHR to be sorted asap and just wanted to be clear when i go to ATOS next week, "forwarned is forearmed"

its up to your dom, if wants to issue ill health retirement.
its down to the 9 month ruling as well, your payment would be possibly about £16.9k.
You can also ask if you can go on alternative duties.
A lot of people would take the lump sum, but make sure you have alternative employment, as you know conditions will continue to get worse, just read the posts on rmchat.
Atos will recommend ill health retirement, but if you claim employment support allowance as long as you have a sick note, atos will assess you and say you are fit for work, which with a sick note you keep on appealing.

Thanks for that :-) my physio has told me that she doesn't think I'll be fit to do my job for at least 6 months.
Will ATOS be happy that that will satisfy the ill health criteria or are they goin to want 9 months exactly? I just want it all sorting now.. I've agreed with my DOM that I want to take IHR and he wants me gone.

the payment is issued within a week.
just allow your body some time to recover, possibly retrain, but just think before you take the leap

ok you will possibly have a final assessment with atos and they will write the report take supporting evidence physio or drs note, to assessment, then atos sends final report to the dom, then ihr will be determined.

what if you have an ongoing condition that isn't under control and you keep having to take time out but getting warning even though its covered under dda?
