Hi every1 I m new in this fourm can u plz help me I just applied a causal postperson job now my status is hired and start date agreed what's that mean and what happen next ?

Thankz for ur reply .Not yet ! My status changed last friday eve ! Might be they will contact me in couple of dayas . Any idea when did I get my id badge or I receive a e-mail ect. Thankz

The system is not very good it takes ages for anything,keep checking your emails and your application account.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

as for they I.D badge, I've been working now for 3weeks as a postman with driving in a sorting office etc and I've still yet to recieve mine! My status didnt change on the website until after I'd recieved a phonecall offering me employement subject to security checks. After that about 3weeks later I got another phonecall saying I'd passed security checks and telling me when and where to go for the induction day.

Congrats AJ u getting ur job ! Hope u enjoyed ur new job. Mate any idea how long will it take and what happen next after this status ' HIRED AND START DATE AGREED' I didn't receive any e-mail, calls frm angard.
