Hello everybody
I received the phone call I'd been waiting for last Friday - that I'd got the job, and due to have my induction at St Stephens Street on the 19th, starting properly at Oldbury on the 20th.
20hrs per week, 6 month contract. Hoping that a few more hours become available....
I'm not a total newbie to the Royal Mail forum, I did find it very useful last December during the Angard debacle when I did some Christmas Casual work.
I'm absolutely chuffed, this is the job I've wanted for some time. Any tips or hints that anyone wants to put forward for new starters would be most appreciated!

good luck, just the usual i guess.
anything your not sure of just ask someone
don't leave the office without taking your office number and a few colleagues
make sure you have decent uniform, may be pretty basic first few weeks but make sure all safe
take a few pens lol
