we currently have a failing p&l revision in our office with massive fails everyday from nearly everyone. dom now telling rep that he has agreed to the jobs & that they are going to start testing people to see if they are up to standard &if they are not they will be told they do not reach the required standards. basically blaming us for jobs that are impossible to complete in the time we have, what can they do if we do not meet the standards?? could we lose our job?? its crazy cz its not our fault but the jobs are just way to big! any info on this would really help as i can see bulling going to another level.

I'm wondering about this too, tell the fat bastards to do the job themselves, they'd keel over after 3 loops or so.
The jobs been done successfully all these years, then they introduce this farce and it goes tits up in a matter of days.
I fear the worse for RM now, this new way of working could finish us off.

our dom says the union signed it off so they agree we should completing the duty's in time! he also says the duty builder states we should get out by a certain time and we are not doing it so he says we are not up to standard so we are breaking an agreement that the union agreed too.

Made up or not, we've had a few "moved" because of performance issues. The problem is they chose who to move, approach the member who having had enough of confrontation moves without complaint. Then they move on to the next victim. The problem about performance issues on delivery and prep rely on the figures being touted by the management.

if ive read this right this is a scary post cz they will just pick on who they want! the only people who will get tested are the ones bringing it back &the ones who run round with a full pouch&not a trolley they will get away with it cz they are completing! what a f***ing joke! the top boys in the union should step in now

The real problem is a lack of communication from HQ to the most important element in the union...the ordinary sub paying member.
Members need to know what RM can and can't get away with and they need to know that the union,all how many thousand of us will stand behind them.
Instead they are kept in the dark,see Area Reps when something needs to be sold and if they do spot a divisional rep they have a hard job distinguishing them from management.
It's hardly surprising members have had enough of confrontation when they are in the most part left to face it themselves.
