Package Delay

Post by user25 »

Hi

I had a small international package sent to me just before the easter bank holiday, 3 weeks on it has not arrived. I was hoping someone could shed some light on whether there has been backlogs or long delays due to the 4 holidays during this period. International packets usually arrive to me within 5-6 business days.

Many Thanks

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Why do people always assume the delay is at RM's end. It probably is but we seem to get blamed for any international delay going out or coming into the country. :cuppa

In answer to the 2 questions, no I havn't got it yet and the country it was posted from was Canada by airmail. Its looking unlikely now it will turn up.

You will need to get the sender to chase it up as it would of been posted with a different company, also only the seller will be able to claim/dispute as they hold the proof of posting.
In regards to delays, nothing really over the last two weeks, at least not in the Mail Centre where I work.

I've had people complain to me about post missing/delayed that is going to or coming from Canada, it must be something on the Canadian side rather than ours.
