I just passed security checks for a postman job in the bristol area. Hopefully this means I will get the job?!

Also wondering when Ive looked at vacancies on the RM site they are ALL offered on part time fixed term temporary contracts. I want to know if there will ever become a possibility of the job becoming full time or permenant or if they just use rolling contracts?

Please post back guys!

Full time - very little chance.

Permanent - A better chance than getting full time but still not a good chance.

TBH we are going through some big changes and whilst that's going on the chance of a permanent contract is not something I would plan on. Once things have settled down, and depending on the impact of the changes in your area then there may be a chance, unfortunately that will probably be about the same time as Privatisation happening.

Still its a job and if you have nothing permanent in the pipeline its worth a go.
