Re: Privatisation is the last thing Royal Mail needs
Royal Mail's problems are not natural, they've been deliberately created and not left to market forces and so the only solution is the "one solution" that government want PRIVATISATION! and as we all know this is NOT a solution but a simple case of the government saying "we don't own the postal service so its not our resposibility, so don't come to us if its not working". You could give them 50 solutions and they wouldn't be interested.

Re: Privatisation is the last thing Royal Mail needs
I read a similarly good article recently from our Roy Mayall, but some of those comments that people left made me feel they don't deserve to hear of the real truths, or at least our side to what we're trying to make known. I almost feel that whatever shape or form this privatisation will bring will kick them as hard up the ar*e as all the other cr*p that we've had to put up from the various governments, sh*t CEOs and d*ckhead planners who make our working lives near-impossible.
I wonder how much everyone will still stamp their feet (and voices) in furious frustration when the cost of sending packets goes through the roof, we get a watered down US0, or if the privatisation goes the same way as not being as demonopolised as most business thinkers had once hoped for. And you know, they will still blame the workers -- bunch o' fugging t*ss*rs!

We posties do things differently, but we still get shot at!

In 5 years people will be moaning about high postage prices and declining service,
and harking back to the good old days when Royal Mail was a public service.
Like the railways. It will be too late then. :vcfo

I am such a fan of Roy,he tells it how it really is for every one to see.
its just a pity his voice is not taken more serious by the powers that be,he puts Billy and co to shame, even comparing Billy and co to Roy is insulting to Roy.
This man knows what he is talking about and expresses it clearly fo all to understand, long may he continue.
