Hi all got an interview this week on a 20 hr casual contract with driving, I've just got a few questions if anyone can help, it says a 9 am start with pre sorted mail till 2pm, as a single parent are these hours often extended & is your mail pre sorted or do you end up doing it yourself, just heard from an ex employee that the 20 hrs will not happen, so if anyone could give me a heads up Please

If your successful at the interview it depends really on how good your new manager is. However through experience it will be unlikely that your duty will be fully prepped but ideally only packets and redirections should be left for you to do.

Hours extended - If you mean overtime there is always plenty of opportunity to do that if you wish but there are processes you need to follow whether you are willing to extend or even if you are not willing or unable. Your Trainer should advise you during the process but if not make sure you do and make sure you follow the local methods.

BTW make sure you find out who rep is as soon as possible, a good one is worth their weight in gold in RM.
