Elves arrive at Albert Dock ready to collect North Pole post

A FESTIVE postal service in Liverpool is promising to raise funds for needy children.

The Albert Dock is hosting Santa’s Sorting Office, which children and grown- ups can use to send their letters direct to Father Christmas. And, if they make a £5 donation to the NSPCC, Santa has also promised to write a letter back.

From Thursday, special Post Boxes and letter pads will be set up around the dock so children can write and send their letters.

The donations will be given to the charity’s Safe Place Appeal, which works with local families around the Christmas period.

The sorting office will be on The Colonnades until January 3.

Dear Santa,
Please please please can Liverpool have it's mail center back.?
I don't think its fair that the reindeer's have to go to Warrington, then take it back to Liverpool by the docks, then travel through the morning rush hour with road works to the delivery offices, then go back to Warrington with all that kit. It's not environmentally friendly either as they produce more CO2 emissions traveling those extra miles. Please can you help us Santa.
