In line with the RPI figure for September, the pay rise/increase for all members from April 2011 with be 4.6%. For regular 20% tax payers in receipt of the RMPP this will be on top of the £16.66 effective pay rise due to the tax allowance being increased by £1000 also from April 2011....

When was rpi last at 4.6%??? must have been as far back as 2008.

RPI has been decreasing slightly over the past few months since hitting 5.1% earlier this year..This will be the first increase for 2 years on the RMPP as the RPI figure last September was below 0%...
