UNI Europa Post&Logistics was part of a TV debate in EuroparlTV

After the successful actions in Strasbourg while the plenary session of the European Parliament, Cornelia Berger, as representative from UNI Europa Post&Logistics was invited to discuss in a TV debate within the political programme “Crossborder”
Together with Markus Ferber, MEP of the EPP group from Germany and Brian Simpson, MEP of the S&D group from UK, the participants discussed about the future of the post. Mr. Simpson pointed out in the discussion that the liberalisation has negative consequences for the workers in the sector and said: “I am concerned about the post office workers, people who work in Royal Mail, about their jobs and their future and not just that it’s their conditions and pensions.”

In her closing words, Cornelia Berger from UNI Europa Post&Logistics made clear that this liberalisation is not for the benefit of customers or workers but ”only large companies and international postal operators will benefit”.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
