All my Christmas gifts never delivered

Hello...

I live in Slough, Berkshire and I was very unhappy over Christmas I received no gifts from my family in Canada. This morning I received a call from my family saying the presents have all been returned to them, marked "undeliverable". They paid $30 to send it and a further $30 to pick it up in Canada 2 months later. I can confirm the address marked on the packages was correct.

For me, I was in my flat every day and never received a ring on the doorbell nor received a card to pick up a package.

This is not my first bad experience with Royal Mail... In fact, I have not had a good experience. I can list the number of times my mail has been messed up but that is not constructive. I have left a complaint with the Royal Post. The whole experience is very frustrating and I look forward to the day I only have to use UPS.

If your parcels were returned "undeliverable", what makes you think UPS could have delivered them ?

This person is right UPS would have delivered them. It's where to that's the problem would be!

Where they sent via Canada's equivalent of Royal Mail or via UPS?

i find it rather hard to believe you was in your flat everyday for a period of about a month without going out. Why do people always refuse to accept there is a possiblity that they wasnt in or didnt hear the buzzer. Do you not have a hair dryer or a hoover or play music or anything that means you might not of heard the door?

Never knew that - the one or 2 times I have killed of foreign stuff is with the the red stickers.
